I have been struggling with dry hair for a while now and while on the search for a new deep conditioner I decided to try a new line for curly/coily hair. The line I decided to try was Texture ID. From the research that I could do on this company, they are black-owned which is a plus. It prides itself on providing moisture and strength to curly hair from type 2 to type 4. I purchased these products from Sally's Beauty Supply Store during their 4 for $20 sale.

Curl Clarifying Shampoo

This shampoo is for all hair types and is meant to clarify the hair. I could definitely tell that the shampoo got all of the product buildup off my scalp and strands. I love the texture and feel of this shampoo. It felt very moisturizing, but this shampoo is clarifying so there is a chance that it can dry your hair out depending on how many times you use it. I like to clarify my hair once or twice a month and use a gentler shampoo on my laidback wash days.

Self-Heating Coil Conditioning Masque

The texture of this product is very lightweight and so I didn't think that it would moisturize my hair much, but the store associate at Sally's said she loved it. This is by far my FAVORITE deep conditioner that I have ever used and I have tried tons. The slip was great for my hair and assisted in detangling my coils.

This product is specifically for type 4 coils. This product is also self-heating, but if you watched the video of me using this product you can see I still used a plastic cap over my hair. I think the fact that it was self-heating in combination with the plastic cap really enhanced the results on my curls. My hair was DYING for some moisture y'all.

Daily Moisturizing Cream

This product is also specifically for type 4 coils and said that it could be used as a leave-in. So I used this product as a leave-in before applying my Xtreme Gel. If you have been following me for a while you know that I cannot do any style without gel. I did not see any gel to use in the store for this line so I didn't get one, but the next day my hair still looked and felt moisturized.

Xtreme gel can be drying though so I did use the cream to refresh my hair in places that I felt it needed more moisture. The texture of this product was somewhat thick so it did feel like it was moisturizing enough to use without needing to add a leave-in. Overall, I am pretty happy with the results of these products and would definitely recommend all three.

After a long hunt of attempting to find a good moisturizing conditioner, I am so happy to have found this one by Texture ID. When I tell yall that this deep conditioner had my mouth drop open at the softness and moisture of my hair like the video couldn't even capture my amazement.
