Personal Narratives: Anything that connects the personal with any of the topics we cover on this site. An example is My Story on How I Learned to Use a Tampon.

You can send your pitches to our editorial team at submissions@shiblaqbri.com. Be sure to include a brief summary of your idea, your writing samples, and any relevant experience you have in the realm of slow beauty and slow living.

Please review our contributor’s terms before submitting to us. If you are submitting, there is a chance that your contribution will be paid. Shiblaqbri is a reader-funded publication, and therefore, the amounts paid vary. The typical range is $50–100 per article. All submissions will be paid within 30 days after your invoice is received. We will be increasing how much we pay writers as our funding increases.

We accept international pitches from writers all around the globe on a case-by-case basis. We believe in fostering a diverse and inclusive community of contributors, and we welcome perspectives from different cultures and backgrounds.
