Inkey List: Hyaluronic Acid Review

I first discovered the Inkey List when I strolled into Sephora, searching for an affordable serum to add to my skincare regimen. This brand is relatively new to Sephora’s shelves, so I was anxious to see how it would work on my skin compared to the ordinary.

Hyaluronic Acid is an excellent humectant to use to amplify your skincare routine. Even if you have oily skin, it can help slow the production of oil on your face and offer your skin hydration where your regular routine is lacking.

The first time I used this serum was on the night of September 13th. It had a tacky feeling, and my skin felt instantly moisturized when I applied it. Hyaluronic acid is best used on damp skin! I followed it with the Origins Ginzing Oil-Free Moisturizer. However, when I woke up the following day, my skin felt a little dehydrated.

My application for the day didn’t give me any feeling of dryness or dehydration. I do sleep with a fan on, and that can definitely take moisture out of the air.

I have been using the hyaluronic serum consistently for about a month now. At first, I was using it both night and day. The small bottle has lasted a while. I am pretty heavy-handed in product usage, so it might last longer if you tend to be more thoughtful about the amounts you use.

Currently, I am only using it at night as I have noticed my skin getting oilier than usual throughout the day. With weather and hormonal changes, it’s pretty natural for your skin to tweak on you. I thoroughly enjoy this product and think it would be a great starter for someone unfamiliar with serums.

This product retails for $7.99 and is incredibly affordable for someone who can’t spend tons of money on a serum.

Rating: 🥀🥀🥀🥀

Overall, it’s an excellent product to use. You don’t have to worry about breaking the bank when you add this serum. While I believe there are better hyaluronic serums, I haven’t precisely tried them yet. I never saw the need before, but I have noticed not only does my skin feel better, but it looks better too.
