19 of the Best Horror Films of All Time

Imagine you are walking through the trail, the one near your house. It’s the trail you always take when you take a stroll through your neighborhood. The sun is setting, and you are just walking along, eager to get home. The trees on the leaves haven’t turned all the way yet, but that autumn breeze licks your cheeks, and you hum Mr. Sandman as you turn the corner that takes you back home.

You aren’t sure how you know, but you can feel someone’s eyes. The hair on the back of your neck stands up, and you turn only to hear the echo of your footsteps stop. Funny. You could’ve sworn that you had heard someone walking behind you.

Horror is that intense feeling of fear. The suspense and the thrill are what make horror the genre it is.
