Since ‘92 OG Body Creme Review

Since ‘92 Home & Body is a Black woman-owned business dedicated to providing vegan and clean products to the community, Narisse Spicer created this brand launched in June 2020. I initially found out about this brand through Kaice Alea’s Instagram story. I was so excited to find it because I had been actively looking for more Black-owned brands to support specifically in the realm of body care.

The product I purchased was The OG Body Creme, an unscented vegan body moisturizer cruelty-free. This 12 oz jar retails for $26 and contains mango butter, rosehip seed oil, and evening primrose oil. My first impression of this was that it was pretty moisturizing and had no greasy feeling.

I have been using this product for a little over a month now. This creme is a whip-like consistency, but it still requires you to rub it in for the product to be worked into your skin. It has no scent, suitable for those who like to wear perfume or are sensitive to fragrance. I am very impressed with this creme as my skin is super dry and usually unresponsive to products that aren’t thick. However, this product does not keep my skin moisturized throughout the day. However, there is a body oil that goes with this creme on the website. This creme is an excellent addition to my body care products and would go well with my summer body care routine.

Overall, I am happy I found this brand, and I am very excited to try more products. I tend to be a conscious spender, so I try to limit how much I contribute to overconsumption while supporting small businesses. I am excited to see what other products this brand releases. I would be most excited about a thicker creme to be released in the future ^^
