I Tried the No Makeup, Makeup Trend

I've been watching makeup videos on YouTube since 2009, and I have learned so much from watching some of my favs like Jackie Aina for example. One trend that has become popular is the no makeup, makeup look. If you type it into the search bar you'll see hundreds of videos of gurus showing you their perfect makeup looks that look like your skin but better.I decided to finally try this kind of look as I found the right shade of foundation to fit my skin courtesy of Fenty Beauty's Profilter Soft Matte foundation. I'm in the color 410.For this look, I used my BH Cosmetics brush where I'd usually use a beauty blender. But with a brush, I get better coverage with this foundation. I concealed my dark spots with Sephora's brightening concealer and filled in my eyebrows with Anastasia Beverly Hills (ABH) Brow defining pencil in dark brown. I applied my Lancôme mascara and my color-pop lipgloss in champagne mami. This would be ideal for brunch, work, or an event that is relatively casual and where you wanna look put together but not like you tried super hard. I know, "what's the point of putting on makeup if you don't want it to look like you have any on?" Because it's our faces and we will do what we want with them. Am I right or am I right ladies and gents? I love how flawless my skin looks with this foundation and I always forget I'm wearing it since it's so light weight. With the sunlight I took very cute photos I'm excited to share on Instagram. You can follow me @thewanderingrose_.I decided to take this opportunity to turn this makeup-less look and try out the ABH Soft Glam Palette. Sienna was used as my transition shade and then I used Mulberry in the crease. I used Sultry on my lid, then Sienna and Mulberry on my bottom lash line. In the corners of my eye I used fairy. The colors are pigmented although I do feel like next time I could get better color show out with a primer. But like I said this was a spur of the moment opportunity ^_^This look would've popped off with some falsies, but I'm still learning how to master those 😂.
